Our Mission

We’re an Australian-owned water wellness company founded by 2 visionary women dedicated to water wellness. We’re on a mission to improve lives with the transformative power of refreshing, alkaline mineral water.

A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine (2005) predicted that this generation of children could be the first in modern history to live shorter lives than their parents. Horrified by this possibility, we asked ourselves this question “What can we do to improve children's health outcomes?”

This question led to the founding of zazen Water in 2008, driven by our mission.

The story so far ...

In 2008, we started zazen Water with a passion.

Our passion wasn’t just for water – it was for the transformative power of the right water. Mineralised alkaline water, as nature intended, to be exact.

To begin with, we met two of the world’s leading alkaline water scientists and sourced a top-tier water filter from Japan, and the impact it had on ourselves and our own families was nothing short of remarkable.

But we weren't satisfied keeping this life-changing water to ourselves. We couldn’t stand by while this generation of children faced the prospect of shorter lifespans – not on our watch. We set to work perfecting an alkaline water system designed for Australian and New Zealand water that we hope will address this problem and genuinely improves lives.

Our passion for water is our life’s work. We can’t wait to share it with you and your loved ones.

The ripple effect

We are committed to making a positive difference in our world. This starts with passing our knowledge on to the next generation and ensuring our children are hydrated with clean, quality water.

The zazen Water Ambassador School Program is a social business enterprise that gives children access to zazen Alkaline Water and educates them on the benefits of proper hydration. The program is funded entirely through our business profits – so far, we’ve poured over $650,000 into this important cause, with the support of our Water Wellness community.
