The shower filter that changed my beauty routine
Natural Health Practitioner and zazen Customer Service Team member Hannah Liteplo shares her personal experience with the zazen Infinity Shower Filter, and how it changed her approach to hair, skin, and complete health and wellbeing.

When you think of skincare routines or good hair days, a shower head water filter might not be the first thing that springs to mind. But for Hannah Liteplo, mum of three and customer service specialist at zazen Water, the right shower water was the missing piece in her beauty and wellbeing routine.
As a natural health practitioner with a background in kinesiology, Hannah has always been mindful of what she puts in her body. But it wasn’t until she joined the zazen team that she began to understand the importance of the water she was bathing in.
We sat down with Hannah to hear how the zazen Infinity Shower Filter has transformed her daily routine, and why she believes it should be part of every family's approach to complete health and wellbeing.
Tell us a little about your background.
I have three beautiful kids aged five to 11, and I would describe myself as a ‘holistic mum’ – I’ve always been passionate about natural living. My own chronic health struggles in early adulthood really set me on a path of taking responsibility for my health, and now, I do the same for my family. I have a Diploma in Neurolinguistic Kinesiology and love helping others live in alignment with nature and reconnect to their bodies.
Had you used any water filters before coming to zazen?
Yes, I’ve used drinking water filters in the past because I was aware of how important clean water is for internal health. But I’d never really considered the water I showered in. It wasn’t until I started working at zazen and learned about the differences between drinking and bathing water that I realised how much chlorine and other chemicals we absorb through our skin and lungs during a hot shower.
What motivated you to try the zazen Infinity Shower Filter?
One of the great things about working at zazen is that we get to use all the products ourselves. After learning about the Infinity Shower Filter and how it works, I was really excited to try it. I wanted to see what impact it would have, especially on my skin and hair.
What changes did you notice?
I have semi-curly, foiled blonde hair and live in Queensland – frizz and flyaways were a constant battle, particularly during the summer humidity. Within two weeks of using the Infinity Shower Filter, I noticed a huge difference. My hair was smoother, softer, and much easier to manage. Even my 11-year-old daughter asked me when she could get one, so her hair could be silky like mine! It’s also made a huge difference to our shower screen. There’s way less buildup and it’s much easier to clean.
Has it changed how you approach beauty and wellness more broadly?
Definitely. I’ve always gone out of my way to use low-tox shampoo and conditioner and visit hairdressers who use gentle products, but it never occurred to me that I was showering in chlorine every morning. Since using the Infinity Shower Filter, I’ve realised how important all the elements of wellness are, including water. It’s not just about what you eat or drink; it’s what touches your skin and what you breathe in.
What would you say to someone considering a shower filter?
Do it! It’s one of the simplest changes you can make for your health and wellbeing, but the benefits are huge.
Whether you're focused on softer hair, healthier skin, or reducing your family's exposure to chemicals, switching to a shower head that filters could be the upgrade your routine has been missing. Like Hannah, many of our customers are discovering how the right water can elevate everyday habits into powerful wellness rituals, with lasting benefits for the whole family.
