Yes, the Infinity shower filter is designed for all Shower types and is easily installed without the need for a plumber.

Yes in most cases, installing any of our zazen Shower Filters is a “do-it-yourself” job. It will require a wrench and/or pliers. 

If you have a very old showerhead that has been in place a very long time (and probably never removed since it was installed!) or you do not feel comfortable, ask a “handyperson” friend to install the filter with or for you.

The zazen Infinity Shower quick & easy to install yourself - no plumber required! Just follow these simple steps.

Step 1

• Remove the Infinity Shower Filter from the box
• Remove the protective plugs from your Infinity Shower Filter - the white plug at the top of the filter unscrews, the pale blue plug at the bottom pulls out.

Step 2

• Each filter has a sure-seal washer in the top that ensures a watertight seal without the need for plumbers’ tape.
• Simply screw and hand tighten.

Step 3

IMPORTANT: Ensure the water supply to your shower is turned off before starting.

Installing your zazen Infinity Shower Filter to a Shower Hose Connection

1. Unscrew the Shower Hose where it connects to the water inlet valve using your hands to twist the hose connection counterclockwise to loosen it.
   If it’s tight, you may need to use a wrench with gentle pressure to avoid damaging the fittings.
2. Screw the Infinity Shower Filter onto the inlet valve by turning it clockwise until securely tightened. Do not over-tighten, hand-tightening is sufficient.
3. Reconnect the Shower Hose by attaching it to the outlet (bottom) of the Infinity Shower Filter by twisting it clockwise. Tighten firmly by hand.
4. Test for leaks around the connections by turning the water supply back on and run the shower. If you notice any, tighten slightly further.

Installing your zazen Infinity Shower Filter to a Wall Pipe with a Shower Head

1. Unscrew the Shower Head where it connects to the shower wall pipe using your hands to twist the hose connection counterclockwise to loosen it.
   If it’s tight, you may need to use a wrench with gentle pressure to avoid damaging the fittings.
2. Screw the Infinity Shower Filter onto the wall pipe by turning it clockwise until securely tightened. Do not over-tighten, hand-tightening is sufficient.
3. Reconnect the Shower Head by attaching it to the outlet (bottom) of the Infinity Shower Filter by twisting it clockwise. Tighten firmly by hand.
4. Test for leaks around the connections by turning the water supply back on and run the shower. If you notice any, tighten slightly further.

No, there is no need to remove fluoride from your shower water. Unlike chlorine, fluoride does not vaporise when water is heated during a shower. With an extremely high boiling point of 1695°C (3083°F), fluoride remains dissolved in water and
does not turn into gas under typical shower conditions.

Additionally, fluoride is not absorbed through the skin*, even in hot water. Its ionic
nature prevents it from penetrating your skin's protective barrier. Unlike
chlorine, which vaporizes and can be absorbed through both inhalation and skin
contact.

Replacement timeframes are based on metropolitan-treated town water quality and
may vary depending on water usage and the quality of your source water.

Delaying filter replacement reduces your zazen Shower Filter's ability to effectively remove chlorine, chloramines, particulates, odours and heavy metals.

The media in your shower filter has a limited capacity to absorb or neutralise contaminants. Once it reaches its maximum capacity, it can no longer effectively filter out impurities.

By replacing your shower filter cartridge as recommended, you ensure the media remains effective, providing cleaner, safer, healthier water for you and the whole family.
