With beautiful warm summer weather soon approaching, it is now more important than ever to keep up your fluids with the right quality and quantity of water to ensure that you are staying hydrated during this busy and festive time.

Optimal hydration is the corner stone of a strong immune system, and therefore your overall wellbeing. Dehydration occurs when you use or lose more fluid than you take in, and your body doesn't have enough water and other fluids. If you don't replace these lost fluids you will become dehydrated and likely will experience symptoms of physical and mental impairment to many normal bodily functions.

With water scarcity being a major issue in Australia and around the world, desalination creates a reliable water supply not dependent upon rain. This incredible technology is now used by many countries to help create a sustainable water source.

Just like our bodies, all water has a pH (potential hydrogen) level. The pH level is the measurement of hydrogen ions concentration, which uses the acidic/alkaline scale is 0-14. Anything above 7 on the scale is considered alkaline, anything under 7 is acidic.

Unless you have been hiding under a rock for the last few years, you already know that water has a plethora of health benefits. Drinking it helps to slow down signs of ageing, prevent many diseases, and nourish the human body every day. Failing to maintain adequate consumption of clean water can lead to unfavourable symptoms of dehydration, including overwhelming headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and a significant reduction in productivity. 

The human body consists of over 70% water, with even higher amounts in newborns.
